Role Description

Seeking a full-time Social Media Content Creator. The Social Media Content Creator will manage and create engaging content for various social media platforms, plan and execute social media strategies, build an active online community, monitor trends, and analyse the performance of campaigns. Responsibilities include collaborating with the marketing team, creating visually appealing posts, and staying updated on digital trends to ensure the content aligns with the company’s goals and voice. This is a hands-on, in-house role requiring a mix of strategic planning, short-form video production and real-time community engagement.

Qualifications

2–4 years of professional experience managing social media accounts, preferably in the B2C, roofing, or construction industry.
Minimum 5 CXC subject
Experience with Digital Marketing, Content Strategy, and Trend Analysis
Design skills, including familiarity with Graphic Design tools and basic photo/video editing
Strong project management skills & analytical skills for campaign performance tracking and reporting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team within an on-site, fast-moving environment
Familiarity with the construction or home improvement industries is a plus
A Marketing Diploma will be an asset.
Portfolio: Proven track record of growing accounts and creating engaging video content (portfolio required).
Tools: Proficiency with video editing apps (CapCut, Premiere Pro), design platforms (Canva, Adobe Illustrator), and scheduling tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout Social)
